Jeanie’s commitment to excellence has been recognized by both her community and her peers. In 1992, the Chamber of Commerce of the West Island of Montreal awarded Trubiano Photography with the Best Small Business Award in the category of Quality and Customer Service. The following year, she was named Business Woman of the Year by the Réseau des Femmes d’Affaires du Québec (RFAQ) (Quebec Business Women’s Association), West Island Chapter.
Jeanie is a member of both the Quebec (CMPQ) and Canadian (PPOC) associations of Professional Photographers. During her eight-year tenure on the board of the CMPQ she developed the Annual Student Photo Competition, which attrects entries from school across Québec. Jeanie was Print Show Chairman and Co-chairman for the 2000 and 2003 Canadian conventions organizing the judging of over 800 entries. Because of these activities as well her high level of achievement in Canadian Print Competitions, she was awarded the title of Master of Photographic Arts by the PPOC in 2006. In the same year Jeanie earned the title of Chartered Master Photographer from the CMPQ.
In 2005, Jeanie was convention chair for the four-day CMPQ provincial which she brought to Pointe-Claire, Québec featuring seminars, trade-show, banquet, and exposition.
The following year, at the 55th CMPQ Awards banquet Jeanie was presented with the coveted National Citation Award and the Gold Medal Service Award for “Services generously given to the association as well as to the profession of Photography" .In 2009, Jeanie represented Québec as part of the PPOC Restructuring Committee.
Jeanie supports her local community through sponsorships with the West Island of Montreal Chamber of Commerce, the West Island Palliative Care Residence, and Women’s Links, among others.
